The County of Grande Prairie wishes you all the best this holiday season.
County offices will be closed to the public starting at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2024, reopening for regular business hours on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Essential services will be maintained during the closure. Visit www.countygp.ab.ca/services to access online services.

Holiday Curbside Collection
Hythe: December 24, and 31, instead of Wednesday, December 25 and January 1.
Carriage Lane and South Clairmont: December 26, January 2, instead of Wednesday, December 25 and January 1.

Recycling and Waste Management Facility Holiday Hours

Clairmont Centre for Recycling & Waste Management 
Regular Hours: Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closing Early: December 24 and 31 at 4:00 p.m.
Closed: December 25-26, January 1, and February 17.

Demmitt Transfer Station
Regular Hours: Tuesday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closing Early: December 24 and 31 at 4:00 p.m.
Closed: December 26.

Elmworth Transfer Station
Regular Hours: Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closed: December 25 and January 1.

Teepee Creek Transfer Station
Regular Hours: Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Closing Early: December 24 and 31 at 4:00 p.m.
Closed: December 26.
Regular hours of operation will resume January 2.

West Grande Prairie Regional Landfill
Regular Hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including January 1.
Closing Early: December 24 at 4:00 p.m.
Closed:  December 25.
Regular hours of operation will resume December 26.
